Detailed Goal: Positive Parent-child Interactions through Play

The Play to Learn Needs Assessment found that caregivers in Jordan and Lebanon have generally positive perceptions of the value of play in children’s development, but their confidence as play partners is limited. It also found that barriers to play include limitations on time, stress, knowledge on how to play, and cultural norms. Based on these findings, we created the “Activity of the Month” calendar that includes one short, actionable play tip and one stress reduction tip per month.
