For over four decades, Sesame Workshop has been creating localized content for children and families across the Middle East. Building on this legacy, Ahlan Simsim is a transformational program that combines direct services for families affected by conflict and crisis with engaging educational media, reaching children wherever they are — in classrooms, health clinics, and learning centers, as well as through TVs and mobile devices.

To date, Ahlan Simsim has reached an incredible 27 million children across MENA. With its TV show airing throughout the Middle East and North Africa, and play-based learning and caregiver support offered in Jordan, Lebanon, and Syria, Ahlan Simsim brings families the educational resources they need to thrive.
