"Ahlan Simsim: Friends Time” is a fun-filled half-hour with the Ahlan Simsim Muppet characters, designed to support children and caregivers across the MENA region during the COVID-19 pandemic. Basma, Jad, Ma’zooza, and Hadi are joined by Elmo, Kaki (Cookie Monster), Gargur (Grover), and special guests for activities, songs, and games—and lessons about how to manage feelings like sadness. The special also models activities that families can do at home together, like playing guessing games and creating thank-you messages for essential workers.
