Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Slow Turtle, Fast Banana!
Elmo and Zoe are playing Pass the Banana, when they realize that they run fast, but Turtle runs very slow. While they wait for Turtle to finish her leg of the relay, they meet Gargur at Door #1 where he demonstrates and a fast dance and a slow dance. Behind Door #2, Gargur races Halum the tiger over hurdles to show how fast he can go - but sadly, Halum is faster and beats Gargur in the race. Gargur has an idea, and leads Elmo and Zoe to Door #3, where he put on rollerblades, which make him faster than Halum. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe return to their play and use a cart to push Turtle FAST towards Kaki (who eats the banana).
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Do Circles Make Good Wheels?
Elmo is giving Zoe a ride in their wooden cart, when they hit a rock and the wheel breaks. Elmo replaces the wheel with a square block. The cart will not roll forward smoothly, and Zoe points out it is because the wheel is not round. Gargur calls them over to the first door, where he introduces his friend Circle. Circle demonstrates how she is round all the way around, with no angles or sides. Behind door #2, Gargur encounters Square. He explains he is not a circle because he has angles and sides and is not round all the way around. Behind door #3, Gargur and Kaki look for Circle, who is disguised beneath a round, circular Kaki. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe resume their play and find a circle wheel to make their cart roll forward smoothly.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Let's Play More or Less!
Elmo and Zoe are doing somersaults when they get thirsty. Elmo drinks more water than Zoe. Gargur invites them behind Door #1 where Gargur is hosting a game. When someone spins the wheel, they either get more or less of something. In the first round, Turtle gets more hats than Kaki. Behind Door #2, Turtle has more balls and Gargur. Behind Door #3, more snow lands on Gargur than Kaki.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: More Leaves on the Tree!
Elmo and Zoe play "Pin the Leaves on the Tree". Elmo adds lots leaves to his tree, while Zoe adds less. Behind Door #1, Gargur demonstrates “more” and “less” by showing one group of 5 chickens and another group of 3 chickens. Behind Door #2 are two crates, a jug of water, and two empty glasses. Gargur fills one of the glasses full of water, and only fills the other halfway, showing “more” and “less” water in each glass. Behind Door #3, Gargur and Kaki Monster play tug-of-war with a rope. Kaki Monster has the shapes (Circle, Square, and Triangle) join his team and Gargur has 6 chickens join him. Gargur notices that he has more teammates, while Kaki Monster has less. With their new knowledge, Elmo, Zoe, Kaki Monster, Gargur, and the Shapes play a “Pin the Chicken on the Perch” game.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: What's Heavier Than a Mango?
Elmo, Zoe and Kaki are playing "What's Heavier Than a Mango" where they lift different objects to guess whether or not it is heavier than a mango. Elmo thinks a watermelon is heavier, but they don't know how to tell for sure. Gargur invites them behind Door #1, where he uses a pan balance to measure the weight of Bodybuilder Chicken vs. a sand bag. He adds himself to the scale to create a balance. Behind Door #2, Gargur has 3 baskets, each with 5 different items. Even though there are the same number of items, the baskets have different weights (sticks, feathers, rocks). Behind Door #3, Gargur and Turtle divide a heavy bucket of chicken feed among two buckets to make the weight easier to carry. With their new knowledge, Elmo, Zoe and Kaki measure mango and melon by placing them in buckets on a stick.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Dancing Fast, Dancing Slow!
Elmo and Zoe are building leaf piles, when they realize that Zoe's pile is bigger than Elmo's because Zoe is building hers fast, and Elmo is moving very slow. Gargur invites them behind Door #1, where he is watering a bush with a teeny tiny watering can, which will take a very long time. To speed it up, he asks Elephant to water the plant with her trunk, which would be FAST because it takes less time. Behind Door #2, Gargur demonstrates fast and slow dances. Behind Door #3, Chicken delivers berries fast because she is on roller skates. Gargur is slow because he is just walking. He gets a skateboard so he too can deliver berries fast. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe go back to collecting leaves at their different speeds.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Big Ears, Small Ears!
Elmo and Zoe are pretending to be bunnies, wearing homemade paper bunny ears. Elmo’s bunny ears are too big and flop over, covering his eyes. Behind Door #1, Gargur demonstrates “big” and “small” by comparing Turtle and Elephant next to each other. Gargur and Turtle sit on a bench and Elephant joins them, showing that “big” takes up more space than “small”. Behind Door #2, Gargur compares a small umbrella and a big umbrella. He struggles to carry the big umbrella, then gives it to Elephant which is the perfect size for her. Gargur tries to use the small umbrella, but it is too small to cover him. Behind Door #3, Kaki Monster makes a party hat for Gargur that is too big and completely covers him. Kaki Monster makes a new, smaller hat but it is still too big for Gargur. He finally makes an even smaller hat for him, but it is too small. With their new knowledge, Zoe fixes Elmo’s paper bunny ears to make them smaller.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Triangle Training!
Elmo and Zoe are playing a game where they lie on the ground and make shapes with their bodies. They make a circle and square, but realize they don't know how to make a triangle. Gargur calls them over to Door #1 where he talks about triangle, while Triangle interrupts saying she IS a triangle. Behind Door #2, Triangle explains what a triangle is by defining it. Behind Door #3, Gargur and Triangle demonstrate how a pyramid is made up of many triangles. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe invited Gargur to be the third side of their triangle as they resume their play.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Painting in Between!
Elmo and Zoe are finger painting when they ask Ma'zooza to join the painting by coming in between them - but its about to rain. Gargur invites them behind Door #1, where Gargur demonstrates between with an apple in the middle of two baskets. In Door #2, he teaches them to play "The Monster In Between" where whichever monster muppet holding the ball stands between two other characters. Behind Door #3, Gargur asks questions about what you get when you put something in between two other things (i.e. a tomato between bread is a sandwich, Elmo between parents is a family). With their new knowledge, Elmo, Zoe and Ma'zooza go back to painting and Ma'zooza stands between them with an umbrella to block the rain.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Put the Mango in the Cart!
Elmo, Zoe and Kaki are playing Mango Line, where they pass a mango down the line and put it in the cart, but all the mangoes roll out. Gargur calls them behind Door #1, where he and the chickens switch back and forth between being inside the chicken pen, and outside the chicken pen. Behind Door #2, Gargur demonstrates the inside and outside of a banana, and slips on the outside (the peel). Behind Door #3, Kaki removes a Kaki from inside a jar to the outside of the jar and then eats it to put it in his tummy. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe close the cart door so that their mangoes stay inside the cart while playing Mango Line.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Chickens Under the Table!
Elmo and Zoe are pretending to be veterinarians. A group of chickens fly in and one lands under their table, while another flies over their sign. Behind Door #1, Gargur and Chicken are building block towers. Gargur refers to a diagram of what color block to place next. Chicken directs him to place blocks over and under each other. Behind Door #2, Gargur is standing on a bridge with an easel, preparing to draw a group of chickens on the bridge, but they have disappeared. He finds the chickens under the bridge, who then run back over the bridge and then under again. Behind Door #3, Gargur and the chickens drive a racing cart and move over and under various obstacles. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe round up the chickens to play veterinarian.

Elmo and Zoe are playing with bubbles and pretending to be scientists. Zoe blows a big bubble and Elmo blows lots of small bubbles. Behind Door #1, Gargur demonstrates “big” and “small” by comparing a ladybug and Ma’Zooza. Behind Door #2, there are two pairs of glasses – one is big and one is small. Gargur tries to put the small glasses on Ma’Zooza and the big glasses on the ladybug. He realizes his mistake and swaps the glasses. Behind Door #3, Gargur is working in his garden. He harvests a small, medium, and big carrot. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe make all different sized bubbles with Ladybug, Elephant, and Gargur.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Triangle Explorers!
Elmo and Zoe are playing “Triangle Explorers”, searching for cardboard triangles on a playground. Behind Door #1, Gargur tells them that triangle are shapes with three sides and three angles. Behind Door #2, Gargur is at the beach. Triangle enters with an isosceles triangle, which looks different than the triangles Elmo and Zoe found. Triangle explains that all triangles do not have to look the same. Behind Door #3, Gargur shows them how a pyramid is made up of triangles. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe assemble a pyramid using the cardboard triangles they have found.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Circle the Hoop!
Elmo and Zoe are playing “Storm Clouds” by trying to move a hoop made out of a willow vine by waving their arms. The hoop breaks apart into a straight branch. Zoe tells Elmo that the vine needs to be a circle. Behind Door #1, Gargur is teaching Circle how to play tag. He tells Elmo and Zoe that circles always have no sides and no angles. Behind Door #2, Circle disguises herself as the round sun behind Gargur. Behind Door #3, Gargur is still playing tag with Circle at a playground. Ameera enters and inflates a soccer ball into a sphere shape. With their new knowledge, Zoe rebraids the willow branch into a circle.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: How Tall is Your Turtle?
Elmo, Zoe, and Turtle are all pretending to be animals. Turtle stands up straight, pretending to be a giraffe, but realizes she needs more height. Behind Door #1, Gargur and Chicken measure their heights by marking their heights with pencil on a wall. Behind Door #2, Gargur and Kaki Monster dance with two different heights of canes. They measure their canes with pieces of string. Behind Door #3, Gargur skips rope while Chicken and Elephant swing the jump rope. Because of Elephant and Chicken’s different heights, Gargur gets tangled in the uneven rope. Chicken calls in two additional chickens to help her adjust her height to be the same as Elephant’s. With their new knowledge, Turtle uses a palm leaf to make her seem taller while pretending to be a giraffe.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Under the Limbo Pole!
Elmo and Zoe are playing limbo with Elephant and Turtle. When they lower the pole, Zoe can't make it under without falling. In Door #1, Gargur demonstrates that the kite he is flying is over him, while the Chickens hanging on the string are under him. Behind door #2, Gargur and chicken take off in a cart and go over a tiny tree. Behind Door #3, Gargur plays leap frog by going over Chicken, over Turtle, and then under Elephant. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe resume their play by jumping over the limbo stick it is too low to go under.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Picture This Width!
Elmo, Zoe, Turtle, Elephant, and Basma are all pretending to be what they want to be when they grow up. Elmo wants to be an artist and tries to draw all of his friends on his piece of paper, but they do not fit. Basma suggests that he checks the width of his paper. Behind Door #1, Chicken tries to park her toy truck in two different boxes. Gargur measures the truck with a stick. The first box is too narrow for the truck to fit, but the other box is wide enough to fit the truck. Behind Door #2, Gargur is assembling a chair for Square. Gargur measures the width of Square with his feet to determine what the width of the chair should be. Behind Door #3, Chicken wants to put a drawing in a picture frame. Gargur measures the picture with a rope to determine which frame is wide enough for the picture. With their new knowledge, Elmo replaces his paper with a wider piece and he is able to draw all of his friends.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: This Kite is Too Heavy!
Elmo and Zoe are flying kites when they discover Elmo’s kite won't fly because it is too heavy with decorative rocks. Gargur calls them over to door #1, where Elmo and Zoe learn that a bucket of water is heavy, but becomes lighter when the water is emptied. Behind door #2, Gargur demonstrates that scales tell the weight of things. Elephant is on the bottom of the scale, and Chicken is on the top, because Elephant is heavier than Chicken. Bodybuilder Chicken hops onto the scale with a truck, which is heavier than Elephant, so it makes the Elephant side of the scale go up. Behind the third door, Gargur removes melons from his cart to make it lighter to push. Basma puts melons in his cart, making it heavy again. Together, they make it lighter. Elmo and Zoe resume their play and, with their new knowledge, remove the rocks from Elmo’s kite to make it lighter.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: How Tall is This Flower?
Elmo and Zoe are playing What Flower Are You, where they find a flower that is the same height as them. They try to find a flower that is the same height as Ma’zooza, but have no success. Gargur invites them behind Door #1, where Gargur is measuring the height of his very tall, very special hat by comparing it against a stack of three chickens with sticks. Behind Door #2, Gargur measures Elephant with 2 tall hats or 6 chickens with sticks. Gargur cannot fit through Door #3 because he and his hat are 6 sticks tall, but the door is only 4 sticks tall. He takes his hat off and lets a chicken wear it through the doorway so they both fit. Elmo and Zoe resume their play and the Chickens help find a flower the same height as Ma’zooza with their measuring stick.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: My Cousins are Squares!
Elmo and Zoe are building a butterfly house when they realize they need a piece of square cardboard to build the home. Gargur calls them over behind Door #1 where he introduces his friend Square, who defines what a square is. Behind Door #2, Gargur is in a town square. Together they all look for squares in everyday life. Behind door #3, Square introduces Elmo and Zoe all his square relatives at a picnic. 6 squares jump together to form a cube. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe return to their play and find 6 squares to build a cube house for the butterflies.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Who's the Heaviest?
Elmo and Zoe are playing “Who’s the Heaviest?” with Ma’Zooza and Jad. Elmo and Ma’Zooza compare their weights on a pan balance, and Ma’Zooza is on the higher side of the scale. Ma’Zooza looks around for objects to hold while on the scale to increase her weight, but the ones she finds are not heavy enough. Behind Door #1, Gargur holds an empty backpack. Bodybuilder Chicken adds heavy objects to Gargur’s backpack, increasing its weight. Behind Door #2, Elephant and Gargur weigh themselves on a scale. Behind Door #3, Gargur, Halum, Elephant, Ma’Zooza, and Chicken fly in a hot air balloon. After Gargur lets go of the rope, the hot air balloon does not move because the basket is too heavy. Everyone gets out of the basket except for Chicken, who flies up in the hot air balloon. With their new knowledge, Jad and Zoe compare their weights on the pan balance. Jad is the heaviest, but then Ma’Zooza jumps in Zoe’s arms and the pan balance realigns to show that they are heavier than Jad.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Between Two Trains!
Elmo and Zoe are playing with toy trains on a track. Elmo has the engine and Zoe has the caboose. Zoe notices that they need the carriage train to go in between the engine and the caboose. Behind Door #1, Gargur jumps rope while Ameera and Basma hold the rope on each side. When Ameera and Basma stop turning the rope, Gargur moves over next to Basma, showing that Basma is now the one “in between”. Behind Door #2, Gargur arranges balls to match a drawing he has made. Behind Door #3, there is a collage of Gargur’s face missing his nose. Gargur directs a group of chickens where to place his nose, in between his mouth and eyes. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe add the carriage train in between the engine and caboose.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: The Chickens are Fast Asleep!
Description TK
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Slow Turtle, Fast Banana!

Behind Door #2, Gargur and Ameera stack blocks inside of a box to make a tower. Gargur accidentally knocks the block tower down, placing the blocks outside of the box again. Behind Door #3, Gargur picks out toys to put inside his backpack. Elmo and Zoe help direct Gargur what items should stay outside and what items should go inside of the backpack. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe continue their game and paint more flowers on the inside and outside of the box.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: The Plane is Too Wide!
Elmo is pretending to be an airplane while Zoe and Basma draw in the sand with sticks. Elmo tries to pass between a gap between two hedges but it is too narrow. Basma holds her stick across the gap and explains that the gap does not have enough width. Behind Door #1, Gargur shows Elmo, Basma, and Zoe a piano that he made for Elephant. He wants to deliver it to Elephant’s home, so he measures the width of the piano using his arms to make sure it fits into a crate. Behind Door #2, Gargur repairs a hole in Chicken’s shed. He tries to use a piece of wood, but it is not wide enough to cover the hole, so he finds a piece of cardboard that matches the width perfectly. Behind Door #3, Gargur measures the width of a door to see if he can move a bench through it. Elephant suggest turning the bench vertically, so the bench’s width is less than the door. With their new knowledge, Zoe measure’s Elmo’s outstretched arms with a stick to see if he has enough space to move in between two tree trunks.
Watch, Play, Learn MATH Block: Big Chick, Little Chick!
Elmo and Zoe are trying to throw a ball in a basket, when they realize it keeps bouncing off the rim because the ball is bigger than the basket. Gargur invites them behind Door #1, where a small egg and large egg hatch into a little chick and BIG chick! Behind Door #2, they all make comparisons about who is bigger and who is smaller. Behind Door #3, Gargur demonstrates that small things take up less room than big things by showing a little chick and Elephant in a little cart vs. big cart. With their new knowledge, Elmo and Zoe return to their play and use a bigger basket for their ball game so there is more room for the ball to land.
